I do not post on Ancestry anymore because their cut off date for living individuals is 1930, reasoning that anyone born before 1930 is listed in the census anyway. I post on Rootsweb, which gives you the option of changing the birthdate. If you use the Advanced Option on Rootsweb you can change the options to suit yourself. I use 1905 because there are not too many individuals who are still living in 2005 that were born in 1905. Also, Rootweb gives you the option to clean the data of anyone still living so that their names are not listed at all. If they are still living, they have been counted in 3 different census decades and that is online for viewing.
