    1. Don't need a gedcom to submit Wells data for merge -- also taking maternal WELLS lines

    3. First, I want to thank all the people who have rushed to my aid by resending their gedcoms, backups of their genealogy software and emails between us with documents (I had sent with updates I had added to their lines), etc. ... it has been very helpful. I just wish I had sent a copy of my status spreadsheet to someone that had all the IDs, Family ID and email addresses. I wanted to clarify a couple things: 1) my software (TMG) will convert a backup of almost any genealogy software to my database. So, if you don't want to send a gedcom, just send me a copy of your latest genealogy software backup files. I do realize that the backup will contain all of the surnames, not just WELLS. I will extract ONLY what I need . eliminating all persons born after 1900 . so don't worry about privacy. 2) as I originally agreed, I am accepting 'maternal' WELLS lines again. Just because I goofed should not cause any of you not to get what I promised. The non-tested WELLS lines will be bounced against the tested lines to see if there is a connection to a specific line. This will never replace finding that 'living WELLS male' and having the test run for your specific 'root' of the family tree. Many have found that they were not connected to the line they had been researching either to a bad assumption, bad information from another source, or mixing up two men from the same area with the same given name. If you have not sent your genealogy data yet, please do so as soon as possible so I can get back on track. Bonita Hillmer Arizona, USA http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hillmer/DNA/ Wells DNA Families W001, W002, W003, W004, W005, W007 and W037 were uploaded so they can be viewed there. The remaining DNA families with multiple people contributing, the 'maternal lines' and 'research but no connection' were all ready to be uploaded when my computer decided to throw up it's speakers and croak.
