Age 70 years. Beloved husband of Karen Cucullu Wells. Father of John Patrick and Michael Scott Wells. Brother of Betty White, Joan Hensley and the late Florence Kaehne. Grandfather of John Patrick, Jr. and Jessica Wells. He is also survived by cousins Barbara Efferson, Debbie Natal, Ricky Natal, Charlotte McWhorter, Kathy Bickley and Marcus Hensley. Mr. Wells was a native of Madison, WI and a resident of New Orleans LA for the past 55 years. He is the son of the late Cecil and Ethel Wells. He was employed with The University of New Orleans for 50 years where he received his Masters Degree in Chemistry. He was also a 7th degree Knights of Columbus, Past President of the National Association of Scientific Materials Managers and he was active with the Boy Scouts of America. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Am. Lung Assn., 2325 Severn Ave. Suite 8, Metairie, LA 70001 or the Am.
