He was my g'g'grandfather and the information I have on him was from his granddaughter, so no proof. Have no idea when he or his family came to the US, no siblings, parents or anything. He ended west (probably late 1850's or early 1860's) to Oregon and California then settled in the Benton county, Oregon, area. Married Sara Louise Hervey in 1863 and had 6 children ( only 3 lived to adulthood). He then moved to Palouse, Whitman, Washington where he died Feb 1884. Since he was 22 years older than Sara Louise, it is very possible that he was married before. I found information that Washington was previously Charlotte and Albany counties. Any one have any information on this person? I have been looking since 1977. Thanks. Joyce
