Being retired, I don't have the problems you've been having, but I am still interested in what you have on Lewis H. Wells, etc. I looked him up in the 1870 and 1880 U.S. Censuses, and it seems to me that he indicated that his father was born in England. I have not, however, checked the family's 1850 entry to see if this could be confirmed. If so, it would completely change my strategy of looking for Condon (Corydon?, Cosidon?) Wells. I do have information on Eliza's ancestry to way back when the family was Heinescheid, or whatever, and would be happy to share it with you. In any case, best wishes to you and all yours.
