Wells was probably born in or around Morganstown, WV. of Irish or Welsh ancestors. He had eight chidren, the youngest of which was Ephraim Stockton Wells, born February 15, 1841. That would suggest E.B.Wells was born around 1800 to 1815. Eprhraim B. Wells relocated to Uniontown, PA where he was an inventor and had registered patents. I would like to find any information on E.B.Wells and am curious as to the origin of his son's (E.S.Wells) middle name, Stockton. I am descended from E.B.Wells. Thanks.
