The only file I found on here that has a Charlotte attach shows her filing in Pa. Why there? Confused. The civil war broke out in 1861 so where was James in the 1860c? I have Charlotte and family with James as the head in the Ohio Champaign Co for the 1850c. Are you sure it is the correct James? Could you tell me Charlotte's application number? or any info that I can ck. The dates on Charlotte come from William Van Buren Wells' family bible is I remember correctly. I can reck.
