    1. [WELLS] William & Susan Wells, New Jersey & Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Enoch Wells, Susan & Charles Wells
    2. Does this sound familiar to anyone - William Wells born about 1816 in New Jersey married to Susan (last name unknown) also born in New Jersey about 1819. They had a son Enoch born about 1840 in New Jersey and a daughter, Mary Susan, born about 1843 in Ohio. By 1860 they are in the Federal Census living in Trenton Ward 1, Mercer County, New Jersey. In 1870 they are living in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa. Their daughter, Mary Susan, is married to her cousin (her father's brother, George's son - Charles W. Wells) and their son, Enoch, is also married - both living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. William dies about 1872 in Cedar Rapids and the last mention I can find of his wife, Susan is a public notice in the Cedar Rapids Times concerning "real estate of William Wells, deceased". The last mention I find of Enoch is him living with his daughter Nellie McFarland, in Des Moines, Iowa. The last mention I can find of Mary Susan is in the 1880 census with her living in East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio. I can not find the family in the 1900 census and in the 1910 censu, Mary Susan's husband, Charles, is a widower living with his daughter Bertha, in Livonia, Livingston County, New York. Mary Susan & Charles had 6 children, William (1864), Sarah "Sadie" (1866), Susan (1870), Mary (1873), Bertha (1876), and George (1880). Bertha is the only one that I can find past 1910, I can not find the other 5 children. William (1816) is the brother of my ggg grandfather, George, born in 1802 in Burlington, New Jersey who was one of 21 children. The family seems to be involved with glass blowing quite a bit. George ended up living in Wayne County, Pennsylvania , after being in Waterford, Camden/Gloucester? County, New Jersey. I am trying to find some of the other brothers & sisters of George & William and which Wells they came from. Both had their marriages recorded in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Please, can anyone help me?? Terri
