The deed says: "Hannah Wells David Oviatt & Lucy his wife Daniel P Wallsworth & Percy his wife John Blivin & Irene his wife Jonathan Wells & Lucy his wife Esther Wells and Wait Wells heirs of Phineas Wells deceased." They sold 80 acres in Homer. At the time the majority of the heirs were living in Chenango County, but Wait was still in Cortland. The deed was executed 18 August 1832.
