Perhaps you mis-read the entry. Eunice was born in 1762, six years after her husband, Elisha was born ( 1758 ). I did not indicate a year for their marriage, simply that they did marry. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SCWBAIB/4232.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: There are connections with this Harvey Scouten of 1882 in Norwich,NY. He did indeed marry Sabra Wells. They moved back to Syracuse, Onondaga,NY. That is where he passed. His son, Richard Warren Scouten Peggy Philips' father. I have been communicating with her alot lately. We were wondering if James Edward Scouten was really his father, or maybe James was Benjamin's brother, also. Benjamin and Viola dispensed with their children in 1910 in Cortland, and my grandmother Ruth, was sent to live with Perle and Ella Wiley in Clay, Onondaga. So, Harvey of 1882 could have been Benjamin's son from his first marriage to Mabel Unknown, and maybe could have been sent to live with James. I don't know. Lots of twists and turns, frustrating, but interesting.
