Does anyone have any info on Joseph Weeks, of Carteret County, b.1798, d. aft 1870; had son George Washington Weeks b. 1830 with unknown wife/other; became widower & married Elizabeth (Welch) Duncan, widow of James Duncan & daughter of Robert Welch & Mary Guthrie. Any info on who the first wife of Joseph was, also his parents and where this line may have originated would be greatly appreciated!

Richard, My Great-Great-Grandfather was a Joseph Weeks who had a son George Washington Weeks, but he was born on 02/08/1808 somewhere in SC. That's as far as I've been able to trace my Weeks line. His wife was Catherine Charlotte (I believe). If you or anyone needs more info about his sons/daughters, I can provide it. I'd love to know if anyone has any info about this line as well. Thanks.
