Ron, my Grandfather was Edward THORNE Weeks b. 1878 in Maine. We have never known where the name Thorne came from...do you think there is any chance of a connection? My Weeks family came from England in the 1600's and settled in Greenland, NH. The original one was named Leonard. There are TONS of Weeks' in New England, believe me. My Mom's maiden name was Weeks. Do you know of any connection as to why your ancestor had a middle name of Thorne?
