    3. Randy, Would you be able to tell me where you found the information on John Weeks, Daniel T. Weeks and Thomas Weeks. John Weeks was my Great Grandfather. I would be especially interested in any more information you may have on Thomas Weeks. I had been unable to trace my line beyond Daniel T. Weeks prior to your note. - Ron -----Original Message----- From: Randy Weeks [mailto:DA33@attbi.com] Sent: Friday, May 16, 2003 8:47 PM To: WEEKS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: Weeks outside NY I can tell you the following: John (Green Point, Long Island 1881) was the son of Daniel T. (aged 76 in 1883) of Fort Montgomery, N.Y. who was the son of Thomas (born on Long Island. Thomas may have been a brother of George, of Dorchester, Ma. No evidence of the countrary had been found (as of 1892), and the name Thomas was common in the neighborhood from which George Came. Thomas was born August 10, 1744 and died Nov. 30, 1819. I also find a Thorne of Highland Falls, N.Y. who was an Uncle to Andrew J. (Paterson N.J. 1884) who was the son of James (Born Orange Co. 1798) s. of Daniel. Thorn of Highland Falls had bro. Smith, in a family of 12 children, of whom Thorn only was living in 1887. Smith had Elizabeth (m. Thorn, Lucretia (m. Harvey Blakely), Benjamin Franklin (b. 18233) Thomas Smith (at Fond du Lac, Wis. 1887, unmarried). Not sure if any of that helped ????????? 3. Hi Ron; I have received your messages, and when I get a chance, will try to give you more info. I have been up to my eyeballs working around the house; helping my partial invalid wife; working part time 3 days, and trying to make arrangements for my 50th high school reunion which comes up June 12th,,,,,,and I have a severe pinched sciatic nerve.... so please bear with me. I have two books published by Robert D. Weeks entitled...Genealogy of the Family of GEORGE WEEKES of Dorchester, Mass... 1635 to 1650 with some info in regard to other families of the name, especially of Thomas of Huntington, L.I. and Nathaniel of Falmouth and Hardwick, Ma. published in 1885,,,, and book II (or Part II) published in 1892. Photocopied books can be purchased from the New England Historical and Genealogical Society in Boston, Ma. There are so many Thomases of that line, I'll have to go thru them all to see if I can establish the line to Daniel..........so don't think I have forgotten about you. Hang in a little while longer....Please ???????/ Randy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Keating" <RKeating@Corp.Prodigy.com> To: <WEEKS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, May 29, 2003 8:52 AM Subject: RE: Weeks outside NY > > Randy, > Would you be able to tell me where you found the information on John > Weeks, Daniel T.
