Hi Cathy, Here's what I have for MI. John D. Weeks, b 20 Jun 1803; m 1 Jan 1826, to Sallie Cutler. They had 11 children, the 10th being James Emory Weeks, b 2 Dec 1847, Hartwick, NY; m 19 Mar 1873 at Hartwick by Rev. David Pendell, to Catherine A. Luce. (She b 22 Feb 1852, Cortland, NY.) They settled in Battle Creek, MI and had one child, Bessie L (?) Weeks, b 14 May 1877, Jackson, MI. I have no further info on the line. I don't show any other Weeks going to MI, nor do I show any Kirklands. Since my genealogy starts with three brothers, Bisset/Bizet, Zechariah, and Andrew (my ancestor), who came to NY from Scotland abt 1775, your family could be descended from one of the other two brothers. Bisset/Bizet settled in NY also, but I have info on his line. I'm sorry that I don't have anything more for you. I hope you find your connection.
