Hi Raymond My WEEKS are from Wiltshire, Originally Durrington and possibly earlier Tilshead. My earliest definite WEEKS is Thomas d 1820 in Durrington. He was probably the son of William & Ellinor WEEKS. if so he was b abt 1743 in Tilshead. They had at least 4 sons John b abt 1741, Thomas, James b abt 1752 & William who died in 1762. They may have had other children elsewhere. In wiltshire there seem to be a number of WEEKS families that are probably unrelated, 1 in the Downton, south Salisbury area, 1 in the Durrington, Amesbury area and at least 1 from the Calne area. My father was born in Potterne and their appears to have been some Farmer's called WEEKS in potterne earlier but I do not think they are linked. I have details of a lot of WEEKS from the Durrington line. If you have any connection let me know regards Nigel ----- Original Message ----- From: <ZENXAN@aol.com> To: <WEEKS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 04, 2003 10:41 PM Subject: Weeks in the UK > Does anyone have any interest at all in Weeks in the UK?.
