You may be interested to know that another Weeks/Sanders marriage gave rise to a large descendancy in western Louisiana and east Texas. Daniel Sanders married Tamar Weeks, both of Carteret county, and moved to Vernon Parish, La., in about 1820 and many of their descendants eventually crossed the Sabine River to become Texans.
