    1. WEEKS in Colleton Co, SC
    2. NET JILOTE
    3. What a lovely day I had. I rode to Walterboro, by myself, and did researh all day. Had a nice lunch and returned home by 6pm. I found some WEEKS info that I'll share later. I copied the index info for marriagess from 1911 to abt 1930, and a few deeds. The strangest thing happened on the ride home. My door chime began to ring and my automatic seatbelt on the passenger side slide down and then back up again. It startled me. Then it happened another dozen times... ding, ding, ding... belt down and back up. When I was approaching Old Fort Dorchester the power to my car died. I gently coasted onto the entrance road of the fort. I got out and opened the hood, checked the battery cables which seemed tight and got back in the car. The car started and hasn't given me any trouble since. I'm searching for an electrical problem. Mom says, "Oh, Janet those kinfolk in Walterboro were just taking turns riding in your car. They probably never rode in a car before and most had never been any further than Ol' Fort Dorchester so that's where they decided to get out!" Leave it to Mom to come up with a sane explaination! J
