My sympathy. I have 80yo parents that want me to drive 100 mi. round trip to visit them everyday. And when I get there I get to clean or just sit and keep them company... like I don't have a life, or a very ill adult child, and a teenager from hell. I feel like rubber woman. janet Which state do you live in? In most states there are programs that help a lot with this type problem. Home Delivered Meals, caregiver programs. You should call your local Department of Human Services to inquire about these. If you parent's community/county has a Senior Citizens Center they should be able to help too.
