    1. Geoerg WEEKS
    2. I just found an interesting item while searching for my family who came over on the WINTHROP FLEET in 1630. They approved my lineage and sent me a certificate, but I wanted to get another in my WEEKS name. On the WINTRHOP site, there is a letter, written by Capt. Roger CLAPP, another of the early settlers. In it he states (and I'm paraphrasing). " I don't intend to leave my new home. (Somebody must have asked him when he was coming back to England from the New World.) My life is here now. I feel so strongly about this that I've written to my two cousins, Nicholas CLAPP and George WEEKS. They are selling their things and will be joining me soon." Maybe this will help someone who's searching for very early WEEKS. I just wish I could track down all his descendants, since I still don't have the parents of my REBECCA WEEKS, B. 1735 in Norwich (Norwalk?) CT. She married Reuban TAYLOR in Norwalk c. 1758. He was in the REV.WAR and after moving several times, they ended up in Falls, Wyoming Co., PA where they both died. Any info on the parents of Rebecca would be most gratefully appreciated. Will gladly share all her descendents. Happy HOliday and Good HUnting. Earlene Hutsell eroch25@aol.com
