I had listed Amiel's mother in my post as follows: Amiel Weeks Whipple's line is as follows: Amiel, son of David Whipple and Abigail Pepper, married 1806. Abigail's parents were Joseph Pepper & Zilpha Brown. David, son of David W. Whipple (1759-1842) m Elizabeth (Betsy) Davis (1766-1826) in 1785. David W. (Was HIS middle name Weeks???), son of James Whipple (1729-1767)m Lydia Powers in 1750. James, son of Jacob Whipple (?-1789), m Jerusha Leland (1710-1789) in 1728. I have scoured the Whipple website and not found any other trace of the name Weeks. I keep hoping that someone out there may have done some matriarchal research in either the Whipple or Weeks lines and found the Whipple/Weeks names somewhere else.
