They were married 29 May 1802 in Campbell County. All of their children were born in Bedford County, Virginia. They moved to Floyd County, Virginia sometime before 1840. Elijah and Margaret are buried in the Hylton/Weeks Cemetery, Burks Fork, Floyd County, Virginia. Do you know if this Elijah had a son that was named Elijah? My Elijah was married around 1851 to Elizabeth Kirkland. He left his family in Monroe Co., Michigan several different times to travel to virginia. He even bought land down there, while his family stayed in Samaria, Mi. I do not know for sure where he went in Virginia. I would love tofind his parents! Cathy J.
