OK, here's the deal. I know my ggg is Samuel L. Weeks born in and around 1829 in NY. He married an Ellen Taylor in NY before moving to Louisiana around 1860 because my gg (Maximillian Frederick Bonzano Weeks) was born in Louisiana and named after the director of the U.S. Mint in New Orleans where Samuel worked. Samuel died of yellow fever in New Orleans on July 27, 1878 while working for the mint as Head Refiner and Melter. The only Samuel that you guys have helped me find that was born in 1829 in NY was from the Francis Weeks line. His parents may have been Samuel Weeks and Mary Lyons, but I cannot confirm that this is indeed the Samuel I'm looking for. Any further confirmation would be appreciated.
