    3. Hello Kevin, My Weeks emigrated from Scotland abt 1775, but I've not yet found their family in Scotland/England. I noticed at the bottom of your message of 5 Jul 2001 below, that you are also researching Lang. My married name is Lang and my husband's father, Cornelis DeWitt Willcox Lang, was from Mississippi originally. He was b 31 AUG 1913 and died 13 FEB 1993. He and his father, John Walton Lang, were both graduates of West Point and John later served as the commandant of the Citadel in Charleston, SC. I have not yet done research on their family, so I have no idea if there would be a connection. I would be interested to hear of your Lang connection. 2. Look under info for Weeksville which is actually part of Brooklyn these days. There are a number of sites listed in most search engines, as it has lots of nice historic markers and was an underground railway stop. z1 wrote: > I am looking for information on the Weeks family of Long Island - > Brooklyn N.Y. 3. HI Does anyone have the parents of Abigail Weeks that married Reuben Hatch 03 Jan 1944/45, Fallmouth, Mass. Shubael Weeks and Mercy Prince could be the parents of Abigail but I have no proof of this. It looks like Shubael daughter Abigail (b. 1713) was 10 years older than Reuben, he was born 1723. The information about her age comes from the History of Martha's Vinyard Dukes Co., Mass Vol. III by C.E. Banks. Thanks Tom -- Thomas and Paulette Hilk 1725 Wildwood Ct. 3. Sarah, have you tried going to rootsweb.com . Last night I was searching through there to see if I could find my line and I ran across a Rebecca Weeks. The dates didn't match, but it could be a later decendant of yours . Use the search engine and when the results come up look into the Worldconnect results. If you click on a person there it takes you to that person. Then if you scroll down to the bottom of the page you can click onto the word "Ahnentafel" and it will show the whole family tree. I have a membership to Family Tree Maker . I'll look her up there too. ----- Original Message ----- From: "laura ewald" <ewald_laura@hotmail.com> To: <WEEKS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2001 12:55 AM Subject: Re: John WEEKS 1651-1714MA md.
