Nina, I just can't find any of the right names with right dates in the Weeks Genealogy Book. There are people with the same name but the dates are basically way off and birthplaces as well. I just don't think that you are the same Weeks line. Noreen Jenkins Blair P.S. Dear Nina, The name, Lyman, sounded familiar but alas I have had no luck for you. I have a Weeks geneaology book called, "Leonard Weeks of Greenland, NH and Descendants 1639-1888. It turns out there are several Lyman's but none that meet your criteria. They were all born in the 1800's. Of course, I have found mistakes in the book so something could be missing, I suppose, but there sure isn't anything concrete in there. I do lots of Weeks' wound up in Vermont and the funny part is my other side of the family lived in Caledonia County, Vermont for many years (I think a few are still there). I do know there was another Weeks family (POSSIBLY related to Leonard who lived in Kittery, Maine). Wish I could be of more help. Hi, Once again, I'll try to find my Rebecca WEEKS, B. 1735 in Norwich, CT. (Maybe Norwalk) I need her parents. Recenly I was told that a George WEEKS< came over with the Winthrop Fleet in 1630 with Capt. Roger CLAPP. WEEKS, was the cousin of CLAPP. If any has any info on a George WEEKS who came over with the Winthrop Fleet, or was in Dorchester, CT in the early 1600's I'd be so grateful to hear from you. Thanks you. I'm looking for the parents of Isabella Weeks. She married Samuel W. Horton in Washington Co., LA about 1832. She died in Texas. I haven't a clue as to her parents were...some mention was made of NY many years ago and I know there are lots of Weeks there. Anyone know of a connection to Isabella? She been a mystery lady of many years! Her sons were named the names of all her husband's family, except Rueben Douglas. I don't know if that's a clue to anyone? OK, here's the deal. I know my ggg is Samuel L. Weeks born in and around 1829 in NY. He married an Ellen Taylor in NY before moving to Louisiana around 1860 because my gg (Maximillian Frederick Bonzano Weeks) was born in Louisiana and named after the director of the U.S. Mint in New Orleans where Samuel worked. Samuel died of yellow fever in New Orleans on July 27, 1878 while working for the mint as Head Refiner and Melter. The only Samuel that you guys have helped me find that was born in 1829 in NY was from the Francis Weeks line. His parents may have been Samuel Weeks and Mary Lyons, but I cannot confirm that this is indeed the Samuel I'm looking for. Any further confirmation would be appreciated. I am still searching for information on my husband's gggrandfather, Ebenezer Weeks who came from GA but where did his people come from? This was in 1820 and his father's name was, I think anyway, James Weeks, but I do not know where he came from to GA. Ebenezer Sr was married to Elizabeth Tice and James Weeks, if my info is correct, was married to Polly Carter. Anyone able to help me on this? Randy, Thanks for all the info on all your Rebecca's. The only ones that seem to fit my Rebecca is with the Falmouth family.... Maybe Ebenezer? Worth a search for them anyway. Thanks again. Earlene Hutsell Eroch25@aol.com

Island about 1750, removed to N.J. and settleded near Egg Harbor at a place perhaps named for him, called, Weekstown, now in Atlantic co., had a daughter named Rebecca, but no info. The other Rebecca's I found either didn't have much information to give you, or were from the Long Island Week's born in the 1800"s, Randy Weeks ----- Original Message ----- From: "JANET JILOTE" <jjilote@msn.com> To: <WEEKS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 23, 2003 8:03 PM Subject: Re: Descendants of Francis Weeks, Oyster Bay, L. I. - BOOKS > You can go to most city/county libraries and request an inter-library loan. You give them the info on a particular book and they can search libraries across the country to find what you want. The book will then be sent to your nearest library. I once received genealogy books located in North Dakota which were not available for check-out at any local libraries. It's worth asking about if there are books in a history room of a library that can not be check-out. > > Janet Nielson Jilote > Chas., SC > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Eroch25@aol.com > To: WEEKS-L@rootsweb.com > Sent: Monday, June 23, 2003 2:13 PM > Subject: Re: Descendants of Francis Weeks, Oyster Bay, L.
