She was born 18 Feb 1955. Her mother was my sister, Sherry Poppe(Sherry lived with grandma Tisdale, in Wisc. after becoming pregnant) and she passed away this week. The only thing Pamela was ever told about her real dad was that his name was Guy Weldon Weeks born 13 Oct 1935 and that he was a Champion Saddle Bronce winner, Texas circuit, during the 50's and 60's. Anyone with any information please contact me. She would love to know more about his genealogy. Thank you. This is my husbands family. But I am actually searching more for anything further back on the Weavers. Nancy was a sister to his g grandfather, William Izear WEAVER. It looks like she named her son, David Chance WEEKS after her father Alfred Green Chance Weaver and his father. Some folks don't do that anymore, but I did and I think it is a respectful thing to do. I have Nancy and Nehemiah's children. Please tell me if this is correct. David Chance 2 nov 1888-9 Apr 1967 m Eva Jane Simpson, on 31 Jan 1923 and is buried in Fresno Co. The pedigree goes like this: David Weeks/Harriett Clark in Pope County, IL had a son named Nehemiah Younger Weeks. Nehemiah Younger Weeks/Nancy Jane Weaver in Arkansas and later in Oklahoma had a son named David Chance Weeks. You must be part of that family, right? My connection is to the Pope County Weeks family. David had a brother named Nehemiah who was married to Sarah Louisa Clark, sister of Harriett. Nehemiah's descendents are my branch. I can take you farther back in this family if you are interested. Distant cousins should connect, don't you think? Write to my email address: mrsmerlin5@aol.com Ruth

At this point, it looks like our Ezekiel weeks was the son of Daniel Weeks, born in MD, but we`re still working on that. There are lots of Weeks spread throughout the colonies from early on, who knows, they may eventually all be found to be related!

As far as I know, Edward was the only child with Ollie, but Ezekiel had 10 children by his first wife. Several of these descendents are working on this line and we would be happy to share what we have. I have a copy of the civil war widow`s pension application Ollie filed after Zeke`s death, and would be most interested in a copy of your letter.
