This is my husbands family. But I am actually searching more for anything further back on the Weavers. Nancy was a sister to his g grandfather, William Izear WEAVER. It looks like she named her son, David Chance WEEKS after her father Alfred Green Chance Weaver and his father. Some folks don't do that anymore, but I did and I think it is a respectful thing to do. I have Nancy and Nehemiah's children. Please tell me if this is correct. David Chance 2 nov 1888-9 Apr 1967 m Eva Jane Simpson, on 31 Jan 1923 and is buried in Fresno Co. Weeks and his 3rd wife, Ollie Ann Cowart. They were married in 1880 in Logan Co, AR. I have Edward born 19 April, 1882 in AR, died in Porum OK. As far as I know, Edward was the only child with Ollie, but Ezekiel had 10 children by his first wife. Several of these descendents are working on this line and we would be happy to share what we have. I have a copy of the civil war widow`s pension application Ollie filed after Zeke`s death, and would be most interested in a copy of your letter.
