To all Webb-DNA participants: Over the past year plus a few months, I have had the good fortune to work closely with Anne Nelson. She is a tireless researcher, and totally committed to WEBB research and DNA analysis. I am honored to count her among my friends. I am also pleased to hear from each and every one of you with productive comments. Of late, Anne and I have been working on a "re-tooling" of the web site, one which will make both of our lives easier with respect to adding new content on a more timely basis. Some updates are therefore behind on the site, so my apologies. However, given the current "events", I have suggested to Anne that we bring down the site completely until there is some resolution to the issues put forth in this very public forum. It will then be up to the participants, to define how they'd like this imbroglio to be resolved. Some questions: 1. How can we better serve your needs overall? 2. Is there a way to provide both public and private access without offense or claims of profiteering? 3. What is missing from the web site? 4. Can we (that means all of us) form a family association to fund the research? These are just some obvious questions; there are, obviously, many more. Please feel free to write to Anne or myself with your comments. Regards, Mark Webb
