    1. Re:John G. Webb, b. New York 1797; DNA sample 11072
    2. For those researching the "New England Webbs", particularly those with the I haplogroup, my line is: 1)John G. WEBB, b. NYC 1797 2)Francis Boggs Webb, b. NYC 10/20/1818, d. St. Louis, MO 1849; m. Dorothy Edmonston 12/10/1842 in St. Louis, MO. 3)Jean Francis Webb, b. St Louis, MO 01/27/1848; d.01/05/1930, White Plains, NY; m. Mary Elizabeth Hypes 06/02/1868 in Lebanon, IL. 4) Jean Francis Webb Jr., b. Lebanon IL 03/01/1869; d. New York NY 04/22/1943; m. Ethel Hamill Morrison 12/230/1908 in Denver CO. 5) Jean Francis Webb III, b. White Plains, NY 10/01/1910; d.New York NY 10/10/1991; m. Martha Ann Bukeley 05/27/1936 in New York,NY. 6) Morrison DeSoto Webb, living DNA sample 11072 at first seemed unlike all other Webb DNA, but subsequent samples are suggesting a New England cluster that may link together. If the DNA is in fact unique from other Webbs, a nonpaternity story may lie among the following facts I've learned about John G. Webb, my "brick wall"; May 12, 1818: John G. Webb marries Jane Ann Chadderdon, both of NYC October 20, 1818: John's son, Francis Boggs Webb, is born November 29, 1820: John G. Webb marries Lucy Camlin, both of NYC. In my research, I have assembled a fair amount of data on other Webbs in New York City from the 1770s to the 1840s if any one else is working in that area. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] Date: Monday, August 1, 2005 6:53 am Subject: [WEBB] CALLING ALL WEBB RESEARCHERS > Hello, I have thought long and hard about this letter but feel I > must write > it.
