We might make some really good progress if we could share with all. Shirley Shirley, I just researched the archives for your screen name during the past few days. I see where you have complained several times about the DNA Project not being public, and where you have said you have a cousin who has had DNA done (why don't you get him to share), and I see where you got a "tibbit" from the "Roll Call." I do NOT see where you posted your family line and shared it with anyone. Perhaps you should SHARE your info with everyone before you start trying sabotage a Project which has been useful (see Nwebb's post of yesterday) to those who have shared their data with others. Personally, I would be leary of putting my data public because of people who ask to see it without revealing theirs. My personal opinion, and one of my Administrative reasons for NOT making data public. Feel free to post your family line here, write it up as a Featured Family for the Newsletter, or make inquiry to me offlist. I will do my best to help you -- or any other researcher. As I always have. Anne W. Nelson
Anne Nelson does an outstanding job as Webb DNA administrator and should be thanked for all her volunteer time. I hope my Webb relatives weren't as mean-spirited as apparently some Webb's are. Try to find someone to join the DNA project if at all possible. If you are unable to do so, posting your ancestors names and locations on this site will provide others the information to answer your questions. I believe the DNA project participants will share whatever they have if they read your request. Those who want to complain about a process they are not part of......find a more satisfactory hobby.
