Larry, haven't been in touch for awhile, but think I might be able to find something on this in the microfilm I bought from NC Dist. Court Records. I know it will show what the charges are against him. It will take some searching and hope the film can be read--some of them are very weak. Yes, the Morgantown will be shown in Burke Co. as this is the district court for several of them. It will take me a few days but will do my best. Larry, correction--I just went in and looked at the film (was going to start readin them tonight) and they don't start until 1798 and I also ordered those that extend to 1805. I never did get the first/second reels NC has on the old court records. They haven't been put on line.
