Hello List, I am wondering if anyone has some info. I am Looking for info on my family, I have been having a real hard time with this line. My Great Grandfather: Louis Clarence Webb was born Nov. 1,1879 maybe in Tenn or Va. Not for sure. He died May 15,1955 in Liberty County, Texas. I have been asking everyone in the family for months for more info, the only thing that has come out of this is more questions. But this is what they have said. Louis's fathers name was suppose to be Fulton, So maybe it could be Robert Fulton Webb ( after famous people) Louis's mothers name is suppose to be Elizabeth, (no last name known) Louis is suppose to have a sister named Elizabeth and a RED HEADED School Teacher. Louis is suppose to have a brother named Walter and one named Bert which could be Albert, Robert, Or maybe Wilbert. There might be more brothers and sisters, but this is all I can find out by talking to the kids of Louis. I know he meet and married my Great Grandmother in 1915, Louis Was 36 years old. My G Grandma was 17, there is a big age difference so maybe he was married before. They meet in Welsh La., and Louis told her if anything was to happen to him and she needed help, contact his family in Roanoke. There is a Roanoke in VA. and about 8 miles away from Welsh, LA. there is a Roanoke, LA. I don't know which one. If anyone might think they know something of this line of WEBB'S I would Love to hear from you. I am ready to beat my head against a wall. Kimmyann, Can't help on your Webb's (can't even help on mine!). As to the Roanoke, there's also a Roanoke in Texas. But it would seem if said for her to get help from his family in just simply Roanoke, it would seem like he would be referring to the one closest to where they were--in Louisiana.
