Anne, Thank You. I have got his death cert. but it don't list his parents. it says "NO DATA". I have looked a newspappers around here where he passed, but no obit.I went to the Social Serurity office they did find his SS#, but they told me his application didn't have any info on it. He was one of the first to get a number and back then it was given to them thru the company he worked for. I wrote to Texaco and asked for info with no response yet(it has been 3 months), he worked for The Texas Oil Co., it turned into Texaco. He retired from there in the mid 40's. I thought they might would have an archive system, of retired works. I would Love anymore Ideas you can offer. I feel like I will never find them Roots, I thought I had found him once before, but it was the wrong Louis C. Webb.. Oh Ya, I do Have their Marriage License. Thank You For all Your Time. --- AWNRDC@aol.com wrote: > Kimmyann: > > Since Louis Clarence Webb was born by 1880, try the > new 1880 all name index > search -- you should be able to find him with his > parents as an infant. > Don't forget -- spelling was not standardized might > show up as Lewis on that > Census. One other thing you might try since you have his death certificate. It should list the funeral home on it, they may have some records.
