Lyell, This is looking better and better. One family story said that one brother (or the father, we never could figure out which) worked the coal mines of Pennyslvania for a while. And William Douglas Webb's mother was supposedly an Indian. I'll bet anything we're tracking these old boys down. I'm leaving town for three weeks next week (I'm a mystery novelist, and I'm starting a big book tour - you can check my website at www.bettywebb-mystery.com), but I'm going to try to check my email from the road. I don't know yet if that will work - I've never done it that way before. But I hope to stay on top of this. When I get back from my tour, I'll hit the Mormon library that is only 15 minutes from my house and see what I can come up with.
