Hello, I'm looking for info on my GreatGrandPa Louis Clarence Webb. What I know is in 1914 he was working around Welsh, La. for Texas oil Co. He met my GreatGrandMother next to a well and they started meeting there everyday, They finally ran away to Port Arthur and got married. ( about 2 weeks after meeting.) They Lived in Port Arthur had 3 Children there, until about 1921. They then moved to Liberty Texas and had 9 more children there. They had their first child in 1917 and the last in 1937. They did move to Mountainair New Mexico for about 3 years, But moved back to Liberty, Texas and in 1955 Louis Died. He is Buried In Dayton, Texas. Pearl (ggrand mother) lived there until she moved to Cal. to live with her daughters and died there, They brought her back to be buried with Louis in Dayton. I have all of this family's info, I do know the names of Pearl's mom and dad, But Louis is my BRICK WALL. If you might know anything of him please contact me. Died: May 15, 1955 in Liberty County, Texas Family Legend is he might have had a sister named Elisabeth, A sister that was a red headed school teacher, and maybe a brother. I can't find him on a census in Tenn. or VA. I have got the 1900 School census's with all the kids listed in school and it has Pearl signing it Mrs. L.C. Webb It is also Family Legend That we are kin too Loretta Lynn Webb, (Our line goes back to her line) I don't know this for fact, I can't get passed Louis.
