    1. [WEBB] Reunion

    3. Webb/ Bradley/ Carver Reunion Cherokee Reservation (East) in August 2001 The 2nd Sunday in August. Bring enough food for your family, utensils and drinks. Church services in the family church along Webb's Creek will be held early Sunday morning and again after the gathering and picnic. Some will visit the Carver/Bradley/Webb cemetery. Just ask around and you will find someone to take you there. The cemetery is located up on top of the mountain just behind the Smokemont campground, Great Smoky Mountian National Park, Swain County, North Carolina, also a part of the old family property. Walking path is there, take a big stick. You will at the latter point, have to climb your way to the top, gloves should be worn. Well worth visiting. My ggg-grandpa Israel Carver and grandma Mary (Bradley) Carver are buried up there with the rest of the relatives. Everything on the stones is written in Cherokee, some of the older relatives can read them for you. Across the main road on the other side of the river is where my gg-grandfather Aden lived. Also up the road out of Smokemont is the visitors center, behind it are some old buildings and houses, a little farm if you will. Way out behind that up the hill is where the Webb's called home. The old houses have fallen down now. Come on out and have a good time. I hope to see you there.
