Merry Webb was the son of the above William who was baptised 7 Sept 1694 at St. Peters Parish in New Kent Co VA. Janice Smith's Webb book cover the same family of Webb's. Janice does not agree that Jacob Webb's father was James Webb but she thinks his father was John Webb. This is the John Webb who married Mary Martin 12 Feb 1711/12 in St. Peter's Parish.
