HI List. Please be advised that my email address has changed, and any help locating my GGrandfather,Samuel Webb, will continue to be appreciated. My GGrandfather,Samuel Webb, was born in 1833 in New York. My Grandfather;s death certificate, indicated that Samuel was born in Warwick,N.Y. Orange Co. Samuel was in Elmira,N.Y. in 1858 when my Grandfather,Charles Webb, was born. Samuel and Olive Decker Webb left Elmira and moved to Moosic,Pa.,where a second son was born in 1859. They all were on the 1860 Census for Luzerne Co.Pa. and also on the 1870 Census. IN 1872 Samuel left Olive Decker Webb and moved to Wellsboro,Pa. with a Olive Scott, where they had a son,Harry. Over the course of the next several years they moved around Pa. as Samuel worked in the Coalmines. Other children were born,Alonzo.Everett,Samuel,Minni.Sarah. On the 1880 Census for Lackawanna Co. Olive Scott Webb was listed with three of the children.Harry,Everett,Minni. Samuel was off working somewere in the Coalmines My Brick Wall is finding when Samuel died (between 1895-1900) and where he was buried. I don't think that he was in Lackawanna Co. when he died because Olive Scott and the children were not on the 1900 Census. I checked the 1900 Soundex for Pa. and New York and with no success. It is possible that Samuel is buried in Marcy Cemetery,Duryea Pa. or Springbrook Cemetery,Springbrook,Pa.
