Sam, Bingo!! My Webbs are the family who settled in the Mammoth Cave area - Martin and Merry. From 1796 both are on the census in the surrounding counties. Warren, Green, Barren, Edmonson and Hart Counties. Merry 1775-1842 is my 3rd grgrandfather through his son Merry Alexander 1831-1919; then Martin H. 1856-1940; then Alexander 1889-1972; Anthony Conda Webb 1917-1962 (my father). I have quite a bit of info I will be happy to share with you. I have wondered about the John I found in Butler Co and how he connected since they are adjoining counties - believe they may have been in Ohio Co as well. ~ Winnie
