Folks I am still up against a brickwall on my John Webb of VA.He was the father of my William Webb b.abt.1780 VA. d.1859 Floyd Co.KY.I have court records for William and tons of info on his descendents. If you have Webb's who may have been in Floyd Co.KY.,let me know and I'll check to see if your Webb's are listed among them. Since I don't have a birth yr.for my John,I est. the birth yr.as somewhere bet.1740-1760,but he may have been born earlier.I could really use some help to try and break down this brickwall on John. I am also asking for help on the following: Through DNA,I have found out that I have the following kinfolk. I have family that were in Buckingham Co.VA.prior to the 1800's and those names are Abraham and Edmund Webb. Edmund's line goes from Buckingham Co.to Monroe Co.KY.around 1822. Abraham's line is in Charlotte Co.VA.around 1839. I have Webb's that were in Scott Co.VA.around 1812 and this is a John Webb Jr.which I suspect is another son to my John.This line begins to show up in Johnson Co.KY around 1840. I have recently learned that my Webb's connect to a Thomas Webb family that comes out of the state of Georgia.Thomas was born there sometime bet.1855/60 and then is in TN.by 1880. Don't know which counties he settled in for either of these states. I have more Webb kin that are in the state of TN.In 1869 a Thomas Webb is living in Davidson Co.and then this line appears in Cooke Co.TX. around 1891. I have a William Webb md to a Nancy (Anglin?) they had the following children Philip Anglin; Elizabeth; William; and Sarah; they are from the Floyd Co. and Franklin Co. area. Any connection. Hi Bev Is the Floyd Co.you mentioned in KY? I have some info on the Webb/Anglin line,but don't have them listed as being in Floyd Co.KY.
