I have no proof other than my John, Augustine, James, and the younger Julius Webb all lived along the Sinking Creek in Botetourt Co. Va in the 1770's and there was an older Julius Webb in Botetourt Co., VA in 1779. I believe there is proof that Augustine and James were brothers. My John webb deeded adjoining land to the younger Julius Webb. Augustine was born in 1855 in Hanover Co., Va and there was a Julius Webb in the church records of Hanover Co., VA in the 1850's. Augustine enlisted from Albemarle Co., Va and there was a Julius Webb there in the 1760's. There is another reference to three brothers, including a Julius, but I can't find it right now. Hi Mike, Have you participated in the Webb DNA project? If so, I would like to learn how I can sponsor a male Webb descendant in my line of Webb's from Wright Co. Missouri. I would also appreciate knowing if you participated at the 12- or 25-marker level of testing. I think this may be the only hope I have of linking the Wright Co. Webbs, who descended from William Julius Webb in Tennessee, to the early Webbs in Virginia. Thanks in advance for the information.
