Hello List, I will inject my John Webb, 3rd G-Grandfather, again. My John was b. 15 November 1786 somewhere in NC. Date of birth is derived from his headstone in Smith Cemetery Clinton Co., IN and his birthplace is from the 1850 IN census. The 1850 census said he was 62 years old so there is some discrepancy in his birth date. He married an Elizabeth "Betsy" Coy abt 1814 in Garrard Co., KY. Since he would have been abt. 28 at his marriage to Elizabeth, I have a feeling he may have been married once before. Just have no proof. We have evidence he was in or around Switzerland Co., IN abt 1816 for the birth of my 2nd G-Grandfather William Webb. This is basically all we know about him - born somewhere in NC abt. 1786 and came through KY on his way to Switzerland Co., IN. Anyone with a John Webb that might resemble what is known about mine?
