I don't know how she has done that. I have some documents, wills, censuses, etc. To show proof of.... I know ancestry can be costly (you could try to have it paid quarterly like I do - then it doesn't seem so expensive. It's a great thing. I have been doing my family tree for the past 5 years. So time does fly when you are having fun...... Don't give up the ship. Just when you think you've sunk your head will be above the waters again...(Brick walls can be discouraging - you will get past it evenutally). So, Why do we do our research? I haven't learned all of these numbering application filing system and all. Could you tell me how to find this information. I love reading stories like these that pertain to your family history. It's all so "WOW".... is this in North Carolina or Virginia? If I searched under ancestry.com, what would I search under?
