    3. Hey Ottice Appears you are having the same problem with your Webbs and I am having with Stella's Tennessee Webb family. Appears that 3-4 brothers came to Tennessee from VA shortly after 1800 and settled in the Anderson - Campbell Co area. Three of the brothers are documented in a book on the Longfield Baptist Church in Anderson Co TN by Edith Wilson Hutton. We are unable to connect the brothers to any Webb family back in VA. It is believed by some that the father was a John Webb. Her Grandfather eventually came to KY to mine coal and her father moved to Irvine. Are you having any water problems in Powell Co. That is where I was born. They had tw o boys, William and John. William is my 4th g-grandfather. He married Dorothea Winborne in Northampton Co. and they migrated to Madison County, Kentucky in 1818. It appears that they spent a few months or over a winter in Buncombe Co., N. C. on the way to Kentucky.
