I am still trying to figure out who and where my William and Nancy Webb were in 1810. Their daughter Nancy was born circa 1811 or 1812 or 1813 (according to her death certificate) in Kentucky. There were no members of any Webb family anywhere in Ky for the census of 1790. There were four William Webbs in the census of 1800, but none of them were in Floyd County. In 1810, there were two William Webbs in Floyd County. One had 1 male 16-26, 3 females under 10, and one female 16-26. The other had one male under 10, one male 16-26, 1 female 10-16 and one female 26-45. By 1820, there was only one William Webb in Floyd County. One of the William Webbs has moved. Does anyone know where the family moved? I assume that one of them is the well documented family of the William Webb who married Nancy Green. Actually the truth is when I look more closely that this William did not probably move to Ky that early. His child born in 1810 was born in Va. His next child was born in Ky in 1811. So we have two William Webbs living in Floyd County in 1810 who have possibly moved by 1820. Where did they go? Marsha in WV
