    1. Re: [WEBB] James, John, and J WEBB Civil War files
    2. OK I'm putting together a spread sheet of these names, maybe we can all sort them out. C. J. Williams you said your James was "from DeKalb Co, TN" do you have him in a Census there? the 1850? what age was he in that Census? If people will provide me with their information, I'll put it into this file, and perhaps those of us with "lost" James and Johns can figure out which ones belong to us. Anne

    3. Anne If you are wanting to do that, how about backing up our WEBB pages on my web site for the WEBB's we all filled out on my website. I do have it ALL backed up now, but as web pages and also our text page I will convert to html soon HEY every one I bought my own domain, now if I can find my self I will get things going there and then announce it, it will permit us to make a direct html page so I wont have to do the conversions because my server will not allow CGI. When you get to my WEBB pages on WEBB, scroll to the HOME link and go to the home page, God willing anger fire did not mess up to much I have a SEARCH there where you can find things fast on my site, ( use the FUZZY) search <G> its more forgiving than the other version. I used a spread sheet on my Matney but it was on the wall , a very large paper one, I have 300 years on it, and cells like the computer one, boy what a saver of time that was looking at all of them all there in Years and in plain view, yup Anne it was a life saver for time and well worth it, nice idea too, wonder if you can make enough fields . OH HEY on our WEBB chat list I have a 20 meg web page with a DATA base if some one want to join the Webb chat list, we can all use that web page for data, files, pictures , scanned documents and you wont have to ask me because its open to any one who joins the list just to use the web site, you can upload on your own = any one interested ? Gee the Webb chatting list has been dormant a long time. OH <sigh> I have made a very long message opps sorry , got carried away <G> Dan see http://wvi.com/~wb ----- Original Message ----- From: <AWNRDC@aol.com> To: <WEBB-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 03, 2002 7:10 PM Subject: Re: [WEBB] James, John, and J WEBB Civil War files > OK I'm putting together a spread sheet of these names, maybe we can all sort > them out. > > C.
