Hi: My name is Sam Webb and I am looking for a ggg grandfather married Martha Patsy Landrum in Williamson Co. TN on Jan 15, 1811. Martha was from Union Co SC near Cross Keys. Her father was Reuben Landrum. I can't find where my John Webb came from or what his middle initial is. I know from the age range on the 1830 Bedford Co. TN Census that my John Webb was born l781-1790. I only know three of their 12 children Mary, Rebecca and Lewis E. Webb. I am in the process of doing a SC neighborhood survey near Martha for the Webb's living nearby. The daughter Rebecca said in the 1880 Ballard Co. Census that her Father was from Ky. An old family bible said John Webb died 1835 in IL while on a hunting trip. I would think he went there to visit family and died while hunting?
