    3. Hi to all! I am new to this particular list. My name is Darlene WEBB-NOWELS. My family line hails from Macon, Noxubee Co., MS. Prior to that, they were in Aliceville, Pickens CO., AL and prior to that, somewhere in Virginia. I can trace my line back definitively to an Amanda who was the wife of Enoch WEBB. That Amanda was born in 1830/40 and possibly may have had the maiden name of STARR. This research has proven difficult as we are African-Americans and our paper trail can prove to be quite elusive. Recurring family names include Lorenzo, Warren, Amanda, Enoch, Sydney, Burt, Willis, and Ruffin/Rufus...If any of this sounds familiar, please write to me. I absolutely would love to share. Any info is pertinent. Thanks. thank you, dwnowels --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Movies - coverage of the 74th Academy Awards
