I have Miranda Webb who was born "near Peekskill, New York" on 14 April 1827, according to her obituary. Being "near Peekskill" puts the event possibly in several adjoining NY counties, including Orange Co. Miranda's father was Allison Webb (sometimes seen spelled as Alison or Alson). Her mother's first name was probably Sally, or Sully-which seems less likely. By 1847, Miranda was in LaSalle Township, Monroe County, Michigan, where she married Hiram Leonard and spent the rest of her life. I have never been able to locate or get further information on Allison Webb or any of his other children. If this rings a bell for anyone, I would greatly appreciate any help.
