He has a stone in the Civil War Section. He enlisted at Peach Orchard Ky, served in the same outfit as my ggrandpa Nelson and several other kin. I did not find Sylvester's family in the 1880 Lawrence Co census, they may have been in Greenup. We have a number of CW veterns from KY buried in Lawrence Co, moved to escape the hostilities toward them" Katherine could be a second wife to Sylvester. David being the informant would not have known his grandmother that had died in 1876. Also his grandparents were living in Ohio so that could be why Ohio was listed as birthplace.
