Hi Everyone - This is to announce a new Eastes/Estes web Site, titled: The Eastes Family HistoricalRecords Bank www.eastes.org The site is still under construction and will be in a state of development for some time. Since there is a growing fear of genealogical data being usurped from personal web sites and used for commercial purposes, this space is privately owned by myself and copyrighted as of 15 September 2001. Any fellow researcher may obtain permission to use this material by contacting the owner at - Roy@eastes.com or Leastes2@aol.com This site was designed to provide a repository for all historical data relating to the ancestors and descendants of Elisha Estes whodied in Roane County Tennessee in 1818/19. The records of 34 researchers were consolidated to form theinitial deposit in this bank. As more records become available, they will beadded to this repository. This branch of the family were probably in Virginia at thetime of the Revolutionary War. Records show they were in South Carolina in 1790 and 1792 and migrated into Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. The basic records show related families of CRUMBLISS, HARVEY, MULLIKEN, NEIGHBOR, WEBB and BRISTOW. As time passed, many more surnames were added to this growing family. A section titled - Related Families are: CUNNINGHAM - HAVENS- LONG - MALOY - POOR - SCOTT is under construction. Again, this site is not complete and is in the process of expansion. We appreciate your patience! Your comments and suggestions will be appreciated! Roy Eastes,Gulfport, Ms
