NO It is absolutely not needed to change one's e-mail prg. Thats a hoax people who do not know what they are talking about are spreading. I have used OE every since I WAS a BETA tester for it == I also TEACH OE and it is no more at risk than any other prg. If you have an antivirus program and check the update daily, and also run Zone Alarm * a must* for those who want to be safer. I run 53 lists, and 99 message boards 22 lists on Yahoo >>ARE = HTML active <=== I have no Virus / have not had one. All it takes is learning your e-mail program////// Folks if you like the e-mail prg you use, keep it. If you changed to something else because * some one said too* and dont like it, change back to one you do like. If you need any help on OE for any thing, I have a computer help list you can join. I will personally help you, along with some other good people there. I do not try to encourage any one from using what they like//// Gee folks , there are Virus out there for MAC/MS/ and OS you can think of, and any e-mail prg there is, and a few multi virus that just hit any thing; your Hard drive, ram, OS etc: If we just run around changing the prgs and not using the antivirus and firewalls , or learning how prg's work, we will all just be sitting ducks = Write me wb@wvi.com for help. We do prg's, from digital cameras, Virus, E-mail prgs, I look for helpers on any thing other than OE, but any one who wants to join to give me a hand on OE is also very welcome. I am not going to have people posting to the lists and going on and on with virus conversations or telling people to change e-mail prgs. If some one the list gets a virus , just tell me at my private addy, send me the warning, just dont send the virus <G> Also please do not make this a conversation here , I have a special list my self to help you if you wish . PS = if you have a MAC, do not feel too safe , there are lots of viri out there , something like over 2000 for Mac,Linux,Unix and other OS.
